May resolution
My May resolution is to consume at least btw 25g-35g of fiber per day. I think it is doable. .5 cup of beans (9g) a medium apple (5g) and a slice of whole wheat bread (2-4g) and all that good for you oatmeal. and to go with all that fiber I will be taking in, 8 glasses of water :) they say if you put it down in writing, you are most likely going to do it.
the great debate that is going on at work is the proposed smoke-free campus, both inside and outside the buildings,...makes for interesting reading as people post their thoughts on the blog on the intranet

life
I survived the first two weeks of my new job. Looks like it is going to be an interesting job. The first week, I was taken out 4 times, by different mgrs and supervisors who I will be supporting. The second week was slow, though on thursday my employer's IAAP chapter hosted a lunch and an informative meeting for us. Next week is Administrative Professionals Week. Be extra nice to your admin. person.
Saturday, I took part in the Blue Cross Market Street Mile since I want to get into running. I did not reach the finish line first, but I did a personal best time. BTW, can someone explain to me how those champion chips work? the one you put on your shoe to record your finish time?
Happy Administrative Professionals Day! (4/25)

what is a mom to do?
On March 30th, we flew to Phily for our Pastor's son's wedding which was very beautiful. I do not know how they feel about having their pic's on the internet so I am not going to post the ones I have (sorry :() We also had some other family business to do in New Jersey. On our way back to Chattanooga, our flight from Phily to Detroit was delayed, so we had like all of 1 second to make our connection in Detroit. We ran to our gate and they were waiting for us since it was not our fault. Our seats were not together. Sila was on his own, and I was with Rehema. Rehema was tired, she needed to be changed and did not want to sit on her chair, but she sat and started crying. We had to wait until the plane took off for me to change her. These young three men who were sitting behind Sila started making the rudest comments when she started crying. One said that the airline should provide earphones and the other said that a shotgun could be better. What was I supposed to do? Did I mention that our luggage never made it with us until the next day?

confession
I am sorry to the non-Sanjaya fans, but I voted for Sanjaya tonight, not once, but several times. I think he was one of the better singers tonight.
