madaraka day
June 1st is Madaraka day in Kenya, it commemorates the day that Kenya attained internal self-rule following four decades of armed struggle.
Happy Madaraka Day all Kenyans and Kenyan wanabees...

5K
let's dance...happy 'Cinco de Mayo'
I am so excited! I am going to be running my 1st 5K marathan in close to 6 weeks. I really wanted to do it, then I could not because we were having a one day drill that day, my prayers were answered and it has been rescheduled for other reasons and so I can go run! run! run! I have a training plan and I am just too excited. Any one wanna join me?
Don't forget Creative Discovery Museum free night on May the 10th, 5.30pm to 8.30 pm. It was so much fun the last time Rehema and I went and the crowd is manageable.

and oh! unfortunately, I think it is Lakisha's turn to go. I think she can sing...but I think Melinda can sing better.
