5K
I got there 5 minutes to time, I now wished that I had not changed from the 5K run to the 5K walk, but it was okay, decided I will just listen to my ipod and walk. There were so many people. While walking, I found a child who had lost his guardian. I told him to go to one of the volunteers and tell her that and waited for him to do that. I hope they found each other, wonder what happened. He looked about 10 years old. It was a good walk and I think I will go run that route soon. My work-mate was 1st place in her age-group, she ran the 5K in 22 minutes. How I wish I could do that, maybe next year!!

comcast part 2
Someone told me it was wrong to call Comcast etc and go blogging about it. I do not understand what is wrong with it. I did not force them to give me that price and I did not threaten to leave them either and you bet when my 6 months are over, I am going to call and try and get the best deal that I can get at that time. and if a competitor has a better deal, I am calling them too. Why pay more?

Comcast
Comcast has been advertising this 19.99 deal for their high speed internet, and we have comcast but are paying much more than19.99, so I called them and asked them what do I need to do to get that 19.99 deal, well, I guess all I needed to do was ask, and now we have 19.99 for the next 6 months!!!! not sure how that works but it saves me money and I love it.
Now I am not going to run the 5K, too nervous, I am going to walk it instead. I have not had enough training!! maybe the next one

sick
Thursday night Rehema threw up until there was nothing else to throw up. She woke up at 2 am and threw up some more Daddy had to keep her since she could not go to daycare. Thanks Daddy. So, I took her to the doctor later in the day - Friday and he said that almost all the kids he saw that day had the same symptoms and just told me to give her the foods I had already been giving her (which she was not eating anyway). There goes my 25 dollars, but it makes me feel better that the doctor saw her and ruled out anything else.

random thoughts
There a few things I have grown to like over the past two years, onesies. I love onesies. I think they are the best piece of clothing you can have for your child. I feel sad that Rehema has outgrown them and now that she is growing older and taller, I love skorts...with a skort you get the best of two worlds, a skirt and shorts. I love them. They are for work and play.
and last but not least, I love DANNON Light & Fit yogurt. I think it is the right size for a toddler and for mommy too. I buy the 4oz and I love it. Does not have much sugar too like most non-fat yogurts out there.
Rehema spend time with one of her best friends during memorial holiday, they have known each other for half of their lives and there is a one week difference in age between them. They had so much fun, she is still asking for her.
We just took back Rehema to her old daycare, I kinda feel guilty for taking her out for a few months and then taking her back. the 'new' daycare was not just resonating with us, as soon as there was an opening in the old one, we took her back Talking about feeling guilty, I have become a podcast junkie, I subscribe to a number of them and at times listen to some if they have an interesting topic. Last week I listened to one called Motherhood uncensored (google it, if interested) and the topic was mommy guilt. She had two guests who have written this mommy guilt book and they said, from their research, the thing that mothers feel the most guilty about was yelling at their kids. I was surprised. After listening to that podcast, I concluded again, that whatever you do with your kids; people, the internet, books will make you feel guilty. So, go with your gut and do whatever you feel is best for you and your children.
have a guilt free day!!
