HAVE A GOOD WEEK AND SAY THANK YOU TO A SOLDIER!!
Saturday has been a busy day. We sold my car last week and now I am shopping for another car with more space. We went to look for a car this morning and found one that we liked we wanted to sleep over it. Not sure how I will get to work on monday, it usually takes me 5 minutes to drive, but we will see.
Today we left Rehema for the first time with a sitter (well, she goes to daycare but she has been with some of those kids since she was 4 months old). 3 hours later we came back and she had talked their ears off. Wonder what she told them??? I am glad that she had a lot of fun with Brian and Hellen, and grateful to them for helping us out.
12 more weeks and some days to go, I am going into the third trimester. I am definately bigger this time and people do not hesitate to inform me that. I have applied for my disability & family medical leave so I guess that means, we are almost getting there. I guess I need to call the hospital and register. I have my specialist appointment in two weeks time. At least it is now too late for them to offer me the amniocentesis. I felt like they were pushing it on me the last time I was there, I think they asked me four times reminding me that it is an insurance covered procedure.
I have been drinking tonnes and tonnes of water. With my first pregnancy, around this time (at 30 weeks) I had to go on bed rest because of low amniotic fluid and the doctor did not know why. She suggested that I start drinking a lot of water to keep the fluid I had until 35 weeks.
I feel kinda ready to have the baby, I do have what I need, but I am still wondering what we are going to do with Rehema. I have a friend from home coming over but she is coming one week after the birth.
Last time I went in saying I am going to do all this stuff natural, I can do it. So I went in and told the nurse, I do not want an epidural. The saying goes that if you go into the Kenyatta national hospital (the main public hospital in Kenya) and you hear women screaming in the labor ward, then it is a Luo woman. Now I believe it is true, I was screaming so loud with each contractions, they must have heard me back at home, my friend called me that morning from Kenya and the first thing she said.."I hope you are not screaming like a Luo woman" I kinda feel like I can do it this time and so I am going to try :-) The difference is amazing when you get the epidural, but he had to do it twice to get it right and that scared me.

You sound a lot more prepared to have your baby than I do, and I am due in 2 1/2 weeks! Hope I actually have that long because if the baby comes any earlier we won't be ready! I'm glad that you are not on bed rest again - hopefully the end of your pregnancy will go smoothly and your labor and delivery won't make you scream so loud! :)
